Fergie Confirms Bisexuality, but Believes in Monogamy

Iconic hip-hop singer Fergie confirmed she is bisexual, saying she has enjoyed "fun with women" but has given it up since marrying actor Josh Duhamel.

The 34-year-old Black Eyed Peas star told The Advocate that her marriage to the Transformers actor is completely monogamous, despite her experimental past.

"I think women are beautiful, I've had a lot of fun with women, and I'm not ashamed of it, the problem is that I also love a well-endowed man, but just because I enjoy women doesn't mean I'm allowed to have affairs in my relationship," Fergie said in the interview.

Fergie, lead lady of the internationally famous band, also told the Advocate that, “I learned through talking with my therapist that it is still cheating even if it’s with girls, so there is a rule there.”

This interview, of course, comes amid rumors that her husband recently slept with a stripper while filming a movie in Atlanta.

The couple denies very specific allegations of Tattletale dancer Nicole Forrester, who’s spoken to tabloids and the local radio station Q100FM, as well as claiming she passed a lie detector test. The two were spotted at Atlanta restaurant Chops having an intimate dinner.

Duhamel has vehemently denied the accusations made by the Atlanta stripper, and insists he was not unfaithful to his wife.

While Britney may be into them, Fergie said she has no interest in sharing her and Duhamel's bed with a third party – or, for that matter, even taping such a tryst.

"No, that's not happening. We're too smart for that. We've done some filming but with no tape in the camera," she said in the interview.

"I'm sorry, I thought, 'Nobody's gonna find out.' It's not gonna hurt anybody,” People magazine quoted Forrester as saying. She further mentioned that her own family, which includes her two young children, has suffered due the recent developments. She has been quoted as saying she had “lots of sex” with Duhamel, and that he is continuing to text her.

"My son, he went to a football game last Saturday and he was like, ''Mom, you're disgusting. I didn't know you had sex with him,” Forrester told the magazine.

The 36-year-old has also decided to quit stripping, saying "I don't want to because of my children. They asked that I never do it again."

However, she does not feel that she has wrecked Fergie's life.

"She's standing by her man, so obviously I'm not wrecking the home too bad, huh?" Forrester said.

On a candid note, she answered that the sex with Duhamel wasn't the best she's had in her life, quipping, "As far as the best sex? No, I don't think that was it."

Meanwhile, Fergie is keeping busy following the infidelity rumors surrounding her marriage. Over the last few days, the singer has been with her Black Eyed Peas bandmates, promoting and performing in Germany, England and France.

"Fergie seemed upbeat and looked like she was having fun," a source who saw her at a Paris radio station says. "If the rumors about this stripper and Josh are bothering her, she didn't let it show."

Fergie also told the Advocate of her band's desire to embrace the gay market. The star also admitted that she was comfortable flirting with women in the video for "I Gotta Feeling" because she has experimented in the past.

"Yes, it was [my idea to flirt with the girls]," she said. "That was fun because it was so naughty. It was a big tease, but it felt very natural."

While the latest Black Eyed Peas album The E.N.D. continues to tear up the charts (after 22 weeks, the album remains in the top 20 and has sold over a million copies), the singer, born Stacy Ann Ferguson, will also appear in "Nine," a film adaptation of the stage musical that is a spiritual sequel to Federico Fellini's "8 ½."

“Nine” also stars Dame Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day Lewis, in the Rob Marshall directed film.
